J(ohn) Abraham is a published author and freelance journalist who lives in the Twin Cities with his wife Mary and their cats. He is currently writing a speculative dystopian novel entitled Spheres of Influence and is seeking a publisher. The book takes a look at some of the most pressing issues of our day: climate change, artificial intelligence, geo-engineering, activism and society and is an example of one path forward that our species may be heading down in an altered timeline from our own. J is available to speak to your group about the indie publishing world.
J's previous novel is Last Man on Campus (North Star Press 2015), a supernatural horror story set in a small Minnesota north-woods university town.
Praise from the Midwest Book Review: "'Last Man on Campus' is an original and deftly crafted read that clearly showcases author John Abraham-Watne as an exceptionally gifted storyteller who will leave his fully entertained readers looking eagerly toward his next novel." J's debut novel Our Senior Year (North Star Press 2014) is available as well through the NSP website and on the B&N Nook.
